#Auckland’s regional fuel tax of 11.5c/l (44c/gal) has come into force with petrol selling for $2.32/l ($8.80/gal) at Mobil K Road. Apparently human civilisation has continued more or less unabated. And remember that you get the transport system that you’re prepared to pay for.

Bike lanes only look empty because they are efficient. This stretch in Copenhagen actually conveys 8 times as many people on bikes compared to cars - still it's mostly cars wee see. vid @anderspreben
