NSAIDS are more dangerous to your health, & more likely to cause death, than #opioids. NSAIDS: Aspirin (Bayer, Bufferin, Excedrin), Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin IB), Naproxen (Aleve). Google for the facts. #opioidcrisis

Seriously though. In YESTERDAY'S latest OPIOID STEERING COMMITTEE mtg. It was stated at the end that about 40 deaths per day are now attributed to opioids. Actually LESS than NSAID deaths per day! WHY THE HYPERFOCUS/HYSTERIA re: opioids then? Inquiring minds want to know damn it!

When a #ChronicPain patient doesn't take their pain meds at the first sign of rising pain, the meds don't kick in properly, & they risk hours of agonizing pain, or needing a higher dose. We are not junkies. We don't take more than we must. Often, the opposite. #OpioidCrisis

Always, ALWAYS record your doctor visits. You wouldn't believe the nonsense some doctors write in your journal--from lies to carelessness--& you might just need evidence of what was said. Tell them your recording device is a "memory aid" & smile. #ChronicPain #MEcfs #pwme

With #MEcfs, all forms of activity can lead to pain. Thinking. Feeling. Moving. When your entire body hurts & the hurt just keeps increasing, the only hope for relief is #OPIOIDS. Cutting back on prescribed opioids will lead to a #SuicideCrisis among those with #ChronicPain.
