1. I am of the firm belief that it is now impossible to get H5N1 out of the ecosystem of North America. Bluntly put, there is now simply too much virus present in wild birds and mammals to be able to contain it. There are also likely many more human cases than reported.

It would take an hour to educate every healthcare worker in the world on how airborne transmission of viruses works, how respirators prevent transmission, and why it is good to stop transmission. It is criminal that this has not been done already.

Before Covid, I used to think it was silly to put infectious patients in with injured patients. Now I understand this is dereliction of care and utter negligence. Hospitals must do more to protect patients - starting with airborne infection control. bbc.com/news/articles/…

Meta’s new content moderation policy is disgusting. Being LGB was declassified as a mental illness since the late 1980s, and being transgender was declassified in 2019. This policy fosters abuse & stigma against LGBTQ+ people that will lead to serious consequences for our safety.
