Seeing multiple excel focused AI startups/wrappers gaining traction. I’d give it 6-12 months before your go-to LLM can start modeling a fairly robust DCF based on feeding it an OM. GPT already pretends to do so, but has some gaps.

Irony: LLMs like GPT or Grok can mine forums (Reddit, etc.) to give you clean, consolidated answers. But as more people rely on LLMs instead of posting, the forums dry up, shrinking the very pool of knowledge LLMs depend on.

Analysts/associates: Geeking out on Excel models is okay in the background, but do it sparingly in view. Prioritize showcasing risk/return and driving understanding of assumptions; the model is just an input.

…in exchange for some sort of surveillance/data information sharing, I would speculate. Smart move by OpenAI and net-net positive for efficiency. Data on consumers is getting shared one way or another anyways.
