Some church spaces are being turned into #affordablehousing to focus on the #homelessness crisis. Among others, St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran in Kitchener, Ontario is partnering with @IndwellCA to create housing for people in need.

Why are these empty cans a symbol of hope? Here's Mitch's story: Mitch (name changed) recently floated an idea with staff in his building. If he could rescue aluminum cans from the building’s recycling bins, he would cash them in and contribute to the cost of weekly Tea Time.

This week we toured the Health Service Building in London, one of two heritage hospital buildings that Indwell is converting into 138 apartment homes. The space is now construction-ready, thanks to the work of Jobi Construction and Southside Construction.
Clear blue skies remind me that well designed beautiful buildings play a key role in ending our homelessness crisis. #supportivehousing works now and for the long term, at far less cost than emergency responses. #hopeandhomes @IndwellCA

Some church spaces are being turned into #affordablehousing to focus on the #homelessness crisis. Among others, St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran in Kitchener, Ontario is partnering with @IndwellCA to create housing for people in need.
