I’m a little creeped out by how invested some people are in Jeremy Renner’s accident/recovery. They’re damn near wailing in the streets because there are no updates on his leg. I wish him all the best as a fan, but there’s bigger things keeping me up at night.

If @eBay was really wanted to protect their revenue they’d require people to commit to immediate payment for bids above $X. That way we don’t have to both sit here for days wondering if a buyer is going to pay, or just flake because there are ZERO penalties if they don’t pay.

These Winter Olympics are seriously gonzo! Singles luge drivers flying all over the place, ridiculously high % of jumping disqualifications due to uniform, guys coming off the hill bloody (if they make it down at all), etc. Totally bananas.

What is this fresh new scam? Got a piece of paper taped to our front door saying somebody would be coming around to paint new house numbers on our curb for a “donation” of $25. No date or contact info, so no way to tell them we didn’t want it and opt out.
