On Sept 18, 2024 the highly anticipated Fed 50 bp rate cut occurred. Market popped 0.6% higher on the 2pm announcement then sold off 0.6% by the 4pm close for a peak to trough 1.2% decline. Then on Thurs Sept 19 it rallied 1.5%. I expect a similar type reaction on the 17-18th. 💯

$VIX We hit our 2025 lows today and hit the support line where I had an alert to roll my SEP 20C to OCT 20C taking a 10% position to 20% position. Also saw another flow outside of the OCT calls out in NOV 22C where I added a 10% position. $VIX can go lower but under a 14…

I will only 2x a normal position on $VIX (February calls) $UVXY (OCT calls) and $VXX equity just over the weekend in case Trump speaks…
