New from @EquisResearch 🧵 About a quarter of Latinos who supported Trump in 2024 either express disappointment in him (19%) or regret their vote (8%). And, there continue to be signs of defection from GOP: 11% of Trump voters say they plan to support a Democrat in 2026.

Crawford slightly outperformed Protasiewicz '23 in MKE Hispanic precincts. What stands out even more is the turnout surge relative to 2023. It seems like Latino 2024 voters were less likely to vote Tuesday than others, but were still much more likely to show up than in 2023.

In WI special, Crawford outperformed Harris more in majority Hispanic precincts than elsewhere in MKE. But turnout in those areas was also lower. Another sign that Trump’s strength seems to lie with Latinos who don’t who up in these kinds of elections?

Dems joking about wanting voter ID now that they benefit from low turnout is really gross. Comes across like they don’t care about voters of color (who are disproportionately impacted by voter ID laws) now that they’re a smaller part of their coalition.

This is cool: cast vote records (CVR) in Washoe (NV) allow us to see the choices voters made on the whole ballot. Overall, 5.8% of Trump voters went for Rosen, 5.5% went "none of the above" or 3rd party, and 1% skipped. (And there was more splitting in Latino precincts...)
