UI/UX people: I get why the decision between dark/light mode as default is fraught with philosophical differences. Is there a reason that now that "Device Default" is an option that it's not just the default across the board? Seems weird I have to set that in every single app.

despite me not being in the country during my nation’s election, mail in ballots enabled me to exercise my rights and have my vote counted. this is the same right that is exercised by many citizens, including every single one of our deployed service members.

Every time an app interrupts me to ask me to review it, I remove a star from a potential review. If it asks me five times, I take the time to submit one.... Unfortunately ratings don't actually impact popular services' apps :(

I’m a little under a week into using my very first iPhone, and while there’s certainly a lot to get used to, one thing burdens my mind above everything else. If green bubbles are social pariahs, WHY IN THE NAME OF EVERYTHING HOLY IS THE MESSAGES APP ICON GREEN?!?

I keep learning and then promptly forgetting about winget. my windows peeps, is this a useful thing? should I bother forcing my brain to remember this? As a linux person, my brain loves the idea, but if it's only half supported then it's more trouble than it's worth
