@tyromper Sometimes the success is in the failure. I know that seems counterintuitive but we all fail more than we succeed… All of us. It’s how we deal with failure that makes us who we are or separates ourselves from others. ‘Trying’ is very important. It the first step. A hard step.
@tyromper That’s a great lesson to teach kids. But they also have to learn how to deal with failure. Skateboarding is REALLY hard. My kid spends hrs trying to do something I can’t teach him. So I film him and we go over the footage together. It seems to help. But we don’t stop.

@motiblackart I say "Everything happens for a reason but it's not always a good reason." A reason in a "cause and effect" sense. Sometimes something might happen for a spiritual reason sure, but sometimes bad things happen just cuz that's life and society makes it worse.
