Let me rant for a second: why do we need 64-core CPUs and >10 minutes to compile a game engine? That's more than 10 hours of CPU work. If you think about it, that's quite insane! Makes me channel strong Muratori/Blow "software is so bad!" energies. There has to be a better way.

Radically simplifying programming is illegible to all our institutions. At least if it requires breaking compatibility with existing programming tech, as surely it does. That is inconceivable to Big Tech, Venture Capital, Computer Science, and the new Techlord philanthropists. 🪦
