Git in Unreal Engine finally works as it should! The Unreal plugin for Git in Anchorpoint has officially left beta 🎉 We would like to thank our user community for testing the plugin and providing valuable insights, especially regarding larger projects. In short, what can the plugin do? - Check out files and lock them to prevent conflicts - Show the status of actors and blueprints directly in the Unreal Editor - Keep Unreal open when pulling or checking out other commits from the Anchorpoint desktop application - View diffs and history, and submit changes directly from the editor. Take a look at the FAB plugin page: lnkd.in/eCKHS4_B
@anchorpoint_hq Looks interesting. Does it work with gitlab too?
@anchorpoint_hq How does this compare to the Project Borealis plugin? github.com/ProjectBoreali…
@anchorpoint_hq Love Anchorpoint!! The program saved my game too many times to count. Thank you, excited to try the update
@anchorpoint_hq "Work on terabyte-sized repositories without slowing down" seems like quite an achievement, last time I tried (a few years ago), GIT (even with LFS) was quite significantly slower on large repositories of binary assets.
@anchorpoint_hq The good UE logo is available on unrealengine.com/en-US/branding
@anchorpoint_hq El problema principal q veo de trabajar con git en vez de usar perforce es q muchos archivos son muy grandes con texturas 2k, 4k, video, caches etc
