To have grit, you have to increase your expected pain-to-gain ratio. Expect 10x more pain for the same unit increase of gain. Once you expect it, the pain doesn't demoralize you as much.

Do people still not understand the model selector? People mock AI based on the output of 4o without even realizing o3 is already smart enough to avoid the issue. AI has improved over 1000x in under 4 years. The human brain cannot comprehend that. Dismiss AI at your own peril.

I really hope no small businesses had more than $250k sitting in their accounts... Small local banks sometimes offer more attractive interest rates, but they are also at higher risk of failing. That's just one reason I avoid leaving deposits in local banks.

I grew up in suburbia and have only a single memory of ever playing in the front yard. Backyards are great. Useful for kids and pets. Front yards are completely wasted real estate, but zoning rules in many areas incentivize them.
