AI has similar vibes to the early days of social media. A lot of smart people took a contrarian view and dismissed social as economically unimportant. As someone who's witnessed social evolve. AI is easy to dismiss but will be much much bigger. Do not fade.

Nvidia is already an aggregator in AI. Very hard for competitors to catch up with the tooling and bundled offering. Very hard for equity investors to get their heads around, thus create another big long opportunity.

This doesn’t feel like 07/08 style contagion. Deposits are safe. Market having trouble pricing in whatever new rules are coming for regional banks. Seems like an opportunity to me.

Seems like a lot of people *want* the depositors of Silicon Valley Bank to get wiped out. The deposits are all most likely safe and that’s NOT a bailout. The equity is a zero and the debt is zero or close to. No moral hazard in this situation. Lots of pain to go around.

Early tech must be able to perform subversive and objectionable tasks in order to prove itself an honest tool. For like a decade plus Google had very few guardrails. ChatGPT putting topics off limits now is a huge mistake.
