Every time I post our boys in etiquette class, folks say: “Why y’all teaching them to eat like white people?” Neatness ain’t “white.” If you call it that, you’re saying being loud, dirty, & sloppy is “Black.” We’re teaching excellence, discipline, & self-respect.

Very interesting, I hail from NZ and have not found this to be true for a lot of men there. I’m not saying there aren’t men who operate like this. But when you have a social system that will support your family financially, you don’t need to worry so much.

I miss the New Zealand healthcare system. Which is weird because it has its limits, but with that said; I don’t hate that I don’t have to worry if I can afford it. I also enjoy that if you go to the doctors for one thing, the assess said thing and they don’t do your whole BMI
