Venus returning to competitive tennis today at age 45. Perhaps I am naive, but I can’t see her opponent wanting to totally humiliate her so really liking Venus +7 1/2. Even a 6-2 6-3 beatdown will be enough for Venus.

Amazingly similar weather forecast for Open as the last time they played Portrush. Wind speeds 2019….15-10-9-15. Wind speeds this year 14-11-10-9. Prob of precip 2019 -60,70,40,60. This year 72,75,40,66. So a tougher Sunday in 2019, but other days practically identical. Pricing…

Weird how on the play before Wash. game-winning FG Daniels voluntarily took a knee 4 yards behind line of scrimmage, turning a 33 yd FG into 37 yd FG. Had there been more time on clock and another knee taken a few more yards back that FG try is not even close and sails wide…

Gotta love those 2nd and 1 QB sneaks (See Norv Turner's boy - Vegas OC). Smart football! Why play with fire when you can just tush push your QB forward a yard or two to pick up that precious first down. Trying to advance the ball downfield through the air is WAY too risky!

When reaching game winning "FG range", so tired of seeing QB's run to the kickers preferred hash mark and then curl up in the fetal position, not even trying to pick up more yards. Seems coaches can't grasp the concept that FG % will go up the closer a team gets to the goal.

Thanks to Payton's decision making/ clock mgmt, Denver got the ball back at their own 19 with 9 seconds left, needing just a TD to tie. Even had Payton tried the on-sides kick and failed, they would still get the ball back at the same place anyway.

Always thought Sean Payton was slick. 4 total boneheaded, low IQ decisions in final 3:00. 1. 9-play drive for FG..needed quick score. 2. Goes for FG on 4th and 5 deep in Pitt territory. 3. Doesn't declare OS kick try. 4. Kicks away to end zone, no chance of TO. Just plain dumb.

Nobody ever went broke fading obscure asian golfers. If you haven't heard of them they pretty much suck. Liking Rd 3 Open P. Harrington over Minkyu Kim and Hillier over Young-Han Song. If you have heard of either one of these asian guys then you need to get out more.

Liking the under 41 in the Wimbledon final but total could move even higher closer to match time as more public money on the overs in these high profile matches. Really strong if you can get 41 1/2 or 42.

Love to hear golf announcers comment on "comfortable pairings" and how players will "feed off each other," as if making birdies is somehow contagious.
