Why when it comes to Afghan & Syrian refugees do we worry about NHS waiting lists and lack of housing etc but when it comes to Ukrainian refugees we’re all asked to budge up, empty the spare room and we’re paid to do it? Anyone?

I recently interviewed a group of people with #LearningDisabilities for a new book. They all voted on ‘distress’ or ‘signs of distress’ to replace ‘challenging behaviour’ or ‘behaviour that challenges’ They said the reason I self injure or hit someone is because I’m distressed

Brilliant work. Barbers will offer blood pressure checks to customers. I have lost too many young patients to strokes & heart attacks. Let’s reach out to our communities rather than waiting for them to come to practices. PCNs could work well with this model for our populations
