AI thinks EF.Functions.JsonValue exists, and so do a few blog posts about SQL JSON columns. But doesn't compile and can't find any trace of this function in MS Learn or in the EF GitHub repo. Very frustrating

what is AI going to mean for libraries (e.g. nuget/npm packages)? Will AI pick its favourite for each task and all others die? Or will AI write new and better libraries? Or perhaps we won't need them at all, because AI can just write the code it needs without requiring a library?

Trying to get github copilot agent mode to update a bunch of broken links in my blog. Does a great job, but gives up after updating about 5 files, so you have to continually tell it to keep going. Have about 87 files to go so far, so not sure it will end up quicker than diy

AI coding tools are coming faster than I can keep up with. Tried out Google Firebase Studio today. It made me a web audio player with FFT-based visualization, but forgot to wire up the volume slider and play/pause button, and then crashed when I asked it to fix it
