Over the course of a year, Twitter has gone from mostly positive and fact based conversations to lots of baseless accusations and intimidation/bully comments. All the tech people I loved to read tips/ideas from have left. I'm putting Twitter on hold and eval at some future time

Every time I sit in traffic I feel let down by @PopMech for promising flying cars "in the next decade" (circa 1970, 1980, 1990, 2000...) I don't even think flying cars will be a great experience 10 after they are out, we'll just recreate flying highways with the same jams

If you don't think the Christian Right wants to change the constitution and make our country a Christian theocracy, these are some of the signs. We were founded on NOT establishing a government religion. This was just mailed to me and it's already in the recycle bin

A trans friend of mine said that after Twitter stopped banning trans harassment, it took only 12 hours before she started getting death threats. Do we have Free Speech if bullies are allowed to make people afraid to speak?

Great book! I stumbled upon #mermaidjs a few years ago and have been using it for all sorts of diagrams. This book helps bootstrap you to using diagrams as code as well as how to be effective at diagrams... I've learned a few things and highly recommend this book!

I kinda secretly wanted a blue badge on twitter (I understand why it goes to real important people, I'm not one of them)...by paying for it, it's like paying for friends or respect, just not something I'd ever do

One of the coolest things about working at @googlecloud is not that we build world-impacting solutions, build stuff for engineers, "the food"...those are all great, but I can give a gThanks to anyone in the organization and they get a small bonus without question or approvals
