@mlundstedt1 @SenThomTillis tried to introduce a stand-alone ERC bill, but Wyden objected because of the Wyden-Smith tax deal. Tillis supports both ending the ERC and expensing research, but he’s willing to risk them both because he doesn’t want them in same bill (HR 7024). It’s idiotic.
And let’s remember at the time the program did feel a bit Oprah-like: *you* get $26,000 and *you* get $26,000...everybody gets $26,000! 3/3
