I dont know what else to do, but I won't just sit here. I got too lucky to do nothing.
I had a family + their elderly neighbor delivered to me by boat. to my front steps.
I have no idea why i watched water lap up against my doorstep but none came inside - but everyone around me flooded.
We just took all of our Street's excess bottled water to shelters. Bags & bags of clothes.
Anyone able, I will fly you to Dallas, or Oklahoma, or NM/CO/KS - wherever - to load up a Uhaul with this stuff & get it here.
So I'm trying to secure supplies for these people to rebuild. Sheetrock, mud, tape, nails, insulation.
Contractors & suppliers will start gouging and raking people who are sitting in bombed-out houses or hotels.
Supplies will be an issue. Once roads reopen & HD/Lowes opens, there will be a run on supplies. Trucks will come & sell out quickly.
OK - back. Just secured an 18,000sqft warehouse and multiple trucks of sheetrock.
But like I said - stories will come. Here to recruit help.
Roads are impassable so news cant get there; imagine will start to see helicopter footage now with better weather.
