The skids sent to Alberta and NWT are specialty made units that have water tanks, pumps and hoses that can be placed onto the back of pickup trucks, turning the vehicles into firefighting apparatus. Please donate to our Canadian Wildfire Response fund at globalmedic.ca/donate

Another 900 Family Emergency Kits are on their way to the airport to support people in Ukraine. These kits each contain a household water purification unit, hygiene items and a solar light to protect the health and safety of families affected by the war.

Our members have been busy caring for stranded Sturgeon that have been displaced throughout the floods. Some days till 3am. Happy moments and some sad ones. We are looking for resources from the governments to make sure every fish has the chance of being brought back home.

So proud to see our friends @QuadRealGroup out helping. They have generously donated space in the Cloverdale Mall where thousands of volunteers have packed food aid and hygiene kits to help families in need across the city. Now their staff are volunteering. Way to go!!!

Food inflation shows rice and grains up 40 percent. Combine that with a 41 pct increase in food bank visits. People are hungry. This program leverages volunteers to pack food aid and feed the hungry. Great program. Support us.
