6BR to 5BR conversion is still underway. Progress this week. He has started whining about how long the process is. With no experience or knowledge on the process. Going in I told him “At least a month”. In my mind we are 3 weeks into 5-6 weeks. I’m happy w where we are.

Grandbaby #1 slept over last night while Mom and Dad went to a wedding. First time that’s ever happened. For a 1yo this kid loves RedBull and Cheetos.

Question for my 18 real followers. Anyone have Suburban for Propane? They’re offering $1.629 gallon through 8/26. Heard not good things but that’s nearly 50% less than my current rate. What is normal price people are paying after the sweetheart period?

Wife is nagging to go slow. She’s not wrong. Started bigish project today. Turning 6BR house into a 5BR house. When we bought the house it was 7BR but the alleged master bath that may or may not exist depending on who asks took 1BR away. Now that I’ve stopped moving. Pain.

Broken ribs altering normal work capacity. Standing is most comfortable. So low impact productivity. 200yo molding. Doesn’t exist today. Mill wants $80 board foot to recreate. Had a custom bit made for $500. Now I can make my own. Router work done. Table saw rips next.

Absolutely ate shit on bicycle ride home. Freshly chip sealed road. I’ve ridden clipless pedals for two decades but sometimes they bite you in the ass. Little banged up but nothing more than some rash and cracked rib. Friday foot commute and tower climbing done for a bit

Good news is the repaired cistern in basement holds water. Has about 4” in it right now. Bad news is there shouldn’t be water in it right now. Condensate from cold water pipes is collecting there. Insulation is the solution.

Well project back on track. After self inflicted setback on Sunday the electric conduit is clear again. Flashlight sort of shows how it’ll look once light is in the well. Water normally crystal clear. Ladder in and out clouded it up some. Depth is roughly 20’, built 1800’s.

Three years ago today, our brother was taken from us while doing his job. Officer Anthony Mazurkiewicz was murdered in the line of duty on July 21, 2022. Maz lived as a hero to his family and friends, and died as a hero to Rochester.

Today, I could’ve accomplished a task in 4 hours. Then I got dumb and reached for perfect + instead of perfect. So instead of having wires pulled from well to basement 8 hours later we now have 2 things stuck in the pipe. 8’ underground and no wires pulled.

Rarity, watching TV with commercials. Love the Cascade one that says it gets “up to 100%” of dried stuff off. Great claim. Like burgers made “with 100%” pure beef. Not “of” but “with”. I am “up to 100%” effective in all my endeavors and also built “with 100% pure muscle”
