Today, we celebrated the birthday of one of our very own Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine fellows, Chuong Le, MD! Happy birthday, Dr. Le!🎉
Our department kicked off the new academic year with a large celebration for our Critical Care Medicine fellows and Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine fellows!
We are proud to celebrate the 2025 graduates of our Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship — Lucas Hamrick, DO; Divya Kalluru, MD; and Natalie Kandinata, DO! 🎓

We’re excited to announce that our Annual Hot Sauce winner is Qiraat Azeem, MD! 🎉 While some participants decided to back out as the challenge heated up, she stayed in the game and won!
Our recent cricothyrotomy and percutaneous tracheostomy simulation workshop! Usually, we use the CAMC Center for Learning and Research for simulation training, but for this workshop, our fellows trained in Program Director Kevin Smith MD's garage.
Our faculty and fellows led Internal Medicine residents through central and arterial lines.
November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month. Talking to your doctor about screening options and taking control of your health is essential. Together, we can raise awareness, fight lung cancer and support those affected.

Our Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship program is dedicated to developing competent physicians. Fellow responsibility for quality patient care is emphasized, and engagement in the process of care is to develop our graduates as future leaders.
Our House Staff Council President is also our Chief Fellow, Lucas Hamrick, DO! We are grateful to have him in our program. His devotion to helping the CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine and our fellowship program has been greatly appreciated. He will do great in this role!
