Woman came up to me asking if cold season was starting because I was wearing a mask. She was not prepared for me spewing Covid facts at her. I enjoyed her discomfort.

Thinking of reaching out to someone and explaining why I’ve not been in contact. Then I realize that they haven’t bothered to reach out in that time. I’m always the one having to initiate contact. It should not be dependent on me alone.

Love when people dump garbage on your lawn so you call the city and they tell you that you can file a complaint about it. Who gets reported? The person whose lawn it’s on (yours) and if you don’t clean it up you will be fined. Even when you know damn well who did the dumping.

You’d think that dentist and hygienists whose faces are in close proximity to others for their entire work day would take the strongest precautions protect themselves from potential illness. It makes no sense to me.

Emailed 15 dentists office first thing this morning as I’m looking for a relatively safe Covid dentist. Have only heard back from 1 so far who said we are post pandemic and they wipe down chairs and sterilize equipment. 🙄

Covid is “over” except for the thousands of ppl dying of it every month and the MILLIONS permanently disabled. Not to mention all the disabled and medically vulnerable ppl and literal babies who can’t even get vaxxed who are at high risk. Just say u have zero solidarity and go.

I think we underestimate the violence and isolation that people experience if they wear respirators in public spaces right now. I think we underestimate how strong the societal pressure is.
