Great thread on a complex and emotionally charged issue. There is no black and white here. The school issue is complex and schools will never be “Safe” vs “Unsafe”- it’s not absolute. We CAN vaccinate kids 5+, their teachers, wear high quality masks, optimize ventilation.

HT @DaveLysecki health of the caregiver is vital. I had a hard time fitting in my own appts (#Fibromyalgia) w/my sons needs. Insert a hospital stay &it was worse+++ Healthy food choices; parent tested sleep chairs at a minimum (on-site RMT service would help too) :-)

This article examined the physical health of caregivers of children with life-limiting conditions. Results indicate that caregiver health was negatively impacted in 84% of included studies. Pain and sleep disturbance were the most common problems. #pedpc ow.ly/HVZ750FVd5C
