Blame the LTB. No one’s going to take undue risks given what you have to go through if you have a bad tenant. That would be dumb. Also, demand supports this.

Just to level set… Average HHI is 92K and average Canadian RE is 678K. At 20% down, GDS will still be slightly beyond 39% threshold for insured mortgages. Still not ideal but no need for “polarizing” headlines. Most ppl are buying homes are 2x income.

Just spoke to someone who purchased 3 pre-construction homes and won’t be able to close on any. Going to lose $250K across the 3. Even took an LOC to fund a downpayment. #ontario #canada #realestate

I generally hate these “here are 10 wild example threads”…but this is crazy. Anyone can build a functional MVP in days…maybe less. The productivity leap is gonna be monumental.
