As someone who used to write code and now writes long-form technical content, I can attest to how rare it is to find someone who can do both. I’ve run dev teams at several companies (SMBs and enterprise). The number of devs who can write a good sentence is very close to 0%.

Over the past 3 months, I’ve sacrificed my exercise routine so I could finish my new album and my new book. Now that they’re done, I’m back to running again and it is humbling. Am I proud that it took me 32 minutes to “run” a 5K this morning? No. Am I proud I didn’t stop? Yes.
