Cells produce different scaffolds at different times - we used cascades of synthetic genes + #DNA monomers to show that polymer length & composition can be dictated simply by the timing of signaling events. Amazing work by @D__Sorrentino with @Simona_Ranallo and @RicciLab

Slide-tags unifies the single cell + spatial genomics worlds. It solves three key problems with existing spatial methods: 1) Cell segmentation (the biggest problem) 2) robustness and scalability (well-powered case-control studies now possible) 3) Multiomics (ATAC, RNA, etc)

2/3 We show that self-assembling systems can be designed to be at azeotropic point, a special case where the multicomponent systems effectively behaves as a single component systems. Not only it is much easier to study their phase diagrams, but the lattices also assemble faster
3/3 We present general design rules to position patchy particle systems (e.g. DNA origami structs) at azeotropic point, providing a step towards creating a computational framework for design of arbitrary self-assembled structures. Great work lead by Camilla from Russo lab!
