Just amazes me that we can measure temperatures in the middle of the ocean from outer space (!) AND get the data in near real-time by hitting buttons on a tiny electronic device. We developed the technology to study the oceans just in time to see all the damage we are doing.

This is an amazing visualizations by @alxrdk showing global temperatures from 1850 to today, and different pathways we might take in the future. This definitely wins the award for best warming stripes in my book!
