Major props to Emily Venters, who made her half marathon debut and shared that she fell at the start of the race and then “stopped, cried, contemplated everything, got up, and said ‘f it up go NOW!’” Finished 7th overall at the Houston Half in 1:08:48.

I would love to see a meaningful change made. The Olympic closing ceremony should hand over to the Paralympics. Nothing else. The Paralympic closing ceremony should then be the moment and the stage to hand over to the next host city.
