It still shocks me that people wake up everyday and just feel... healthy. No pain, no fatigue, no headache, no stomach ache, no joint pains just... a body floating through the day. As a chronically ill person I literally cannot imagine or remember what that feels like.

Please know that if someone can't work due to a chronic illness or disability that's not a good thing. It's not living your best life and enjoying your free time. It's actually giving up on career dreams and having no financial stability. Please don't glorify it because it sucks.

When will people realise that Chronically I’ll people cannot predict how they will feel in the next few minutes, hours, days or months. I could wake up feeling fine and then feel like I’ve been hit by a truck within the hour. There are no warning signs. #MyalgicEncephalomyelitis
